Self Care after your Energy Healing Session:
1.)Get as much rest as possible in the next 12-24 hours. Try to avoid excessive exercise the first 2 days.
2.)Drink plenty of liquids, especially water for the next 24-36 hours. Eat light meals.
3.)Salt baths or salt showers are very beneficial three days after your session. It cleanses your whole energetic field.

Salt bath: Run a warm bath and add one pound of non iodized salt to the water. Add up to 10 drops of lavender oil. Soak for 20 minutes and then wash salt water off in a shower. Salt baths are safe to do daily and advised to do weekly

Salt shower: Use a regular body wash and add non iodized salt to the body wash. Get in the shower and rinse off first. Then apply the salt body wash all over the body avoiding the eyes or other sensitive areas of the body. Wait a minute and rinse off. This is a safe way to cleanse the energy body daily.
4.)Consider starting a meditation practice at home if you have not already. Mindfulness, Twin Hearts Meditation, Zen, or any other practice that you like. It does not need to be complicated. An example would be practicing yoga and meditation in the morning for 15 minutes to start your day.
5.)Start a journal or set up appointments with a mental health professional. If you are receiving energy healing work for emotional issues, this is an important step in the healing process. A lot can come up in your healing session that has been with you for a long time. It is important to find a safe way to process those emotions. Energy Healers are not licensed mental health therapists.
6.) See your medical doctor regularly if you are receiving energy work for physical ailments. Energy work is not meant to replace medical care. It can assist in a very positive way, but it cannot replace the expertise a medical team provides you. Energy Healers are not doctors and they cannot diagnose your physical ailments, or prescribe you medications.
7.) Stay in contact with your Energy Healer after the session by email or phone/text message. Especially if anything shifts in the way you feel physically, emotionally or in how you are processing thoughts. These shifts can happen during your session. They can also keep shifting for up to a couple weeks after the session, possible longer considering the individual person. When receiving energy healing work, it is important to remember that the physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual condition you are seeking assistance with did not start overnight. Therefore however these conditions shift for you will be unique to your personal journey.
8.)Get into nature. Life force energy in nature supports your healing physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Walking by, standing or swimming in salt water cleanses your aura. Laying or sitting on rocks and sand help ground your energy back into your body, bringing you more presence. Being among trees surrounds you with love, care, and quiet contemplation. Reconnecting with our sacred Mother Earth helps you reconnect with your divine self, your soul.
19.)Play, laugh, be curious, be yourself. Discover your passions in life. Learn new ways to express yourself and be creative. The creative process opens up new pathways in your mindset and emotions. It allows new levels of awareness and helps support you in discovering more about who you are.
