Suggestions for Before an Energy Healing Session

Light a candle for yourself. It's not common practice to look within and care about our healing journey. If you are receiving energy healing this is a good time to look out for just you.

Salt baths or salt showers are very beneficial the night before or the morning of your session. It cleanses your whole energetic field. This helps your healer get deeper into your energetic field.

Salt bath: Run a warm bath and add one pound of non iodized salt to the water. Add up to 10 drops of lavender oil. Soak for 20 minutes and then wash salt water off in a shower. Salt baths are safe to do daily and advised to do weekly

Salt shower: Use a regular body wash and add non iodized salt to the body wash. Get in the shower and rinse off first. Then apply the salt body wash all over the body avoiding the eyes or other sensitive areas of the body. Wait a minute and rinse off. This is a safe way to cleanse the energy body daily.

Wear flexible, comfortable, breathable clothing during your session. You will be lying down or sitting during your session. It's best to be as comfortable as possible. Wearing restricting clothes can block that and redirect your focus towards letting go.

Please remove all jewelry, crystals, electronics, anything leather like a belt or any garments made of the material silk or wool before the session. These materials carry energy or block energy, so it’s best to just remove them.

Please do not consume alcohol, smoke/vape, or use recreational drugs during your session. It’s most beneficial to avoid these substances 24 hours before or after a session, that is just a suggestion. More importantly would be to not drink, smoke/vape, or consume any recreational drugs during your healing appointment. These substances do interfere with our energy fields and they will interfere with the session.

Consider starting a journal and writing down your intentions for the healing session. This can help put you into the right frame of mind before you get the healing. It is also beneficial for when you may want to look back over your progress. This journal can be used for healing notes as well for after the session.

Have water and tissues available during the session. Oftentimes coughing or tears can be induced from the sessions. These are ways our bodies release energy so it is very normal.
Things to expect during a session:
Temperatures around you or in your body may fluctuate from hot to cold. You may experience tingling, tightening or clamping sensations. You may also feel waves floating off of you or feel like your body weight is uneven. You can feel pulled in a direction. Emotions, thoughts or visualizations may appear in your mind out of nowhere. During a session a lot can come up to the surface to be released. It's important to let your healer know what is going on inside your body, emotions and mind. That way your healer can best support your work for your greatest good. If anything unusual happens your healer wants to know ASAP!
